A Wild Goose Chase

This is a photo/audio project I tag-teamed with another Modesto Bee photographer, Bart Ah You. It is about geese who were relocated from Modesto to the hills, and just as the process was almost finished, they disappeared down the mountainside.... rather controversial.

Best of Chile, Part 2

Most of these pictures come from a story I did on nuns living in a rural town called Toconao. Toconao is less than 30 minutes from the Bolivian border, and so there are lots of Bolivian influences. I went to a festival the town held for Saint Christopher at La Iglesia de San Lucas, and it was incredible to see Bolivian pagan traditions (such as the dancing and costumes) inside an Opus Dei Catholic church.
